A party of adventurers ventures deep into ancient ruins full of magic. The artifact they hope to find there is the only way to save the kingdom. On the way, bloodthirsty monsters, deadly traps and the greed that sleeps in the heroes' own hearts lie in wait.

Zabić Smoka! is a modern roleplaying game written by Wojciech Rosiński, winner of the Quentin, the annual Polish contest for the best RPG adventure. Its simple, intuitive rules blend classic fantasy atmosphere with play built around creative thinking and problem solving, and its modular design lets every group shape the game to its taste. This is the Polish edition of the game published in English as Slay the Dragon!

Classic fantasy roleplaying

Zabić Smoka! takes you back to the exciting years when roleplaying games were just getting started. Players become adventurers who, in search of glory and riches, take on the hardest quests and set out for the most dangerous corners of the world. Many of them will not survive, but those who do will gain the power to change the fate of the world.

The game is inspired by everything that fired the imagination of the pioneers who played the first editions of the world's most popular roleplaying game.

Fate in the players' hands

Your sessions will be full of deadly danger and of chances to leave your mark on the world. What shape those moments take depends only on the game master's imagination. Purple-skinned orcs? Elves fighting robots from outer space? Lovecraftian horrors guarding the treasures of a long-forgotten civilization?

Old school, modern rules

The rules draw on the mechanics that gave early RPGs their flavour, but give them a modern form so play stays fast and intuitive. A set of tables for game masters, procedural dungeon exploration and dynamic combat keep the focus on creative solutions instead of tedious bookkeeping.

An intuitive inventory system

One of the game's signature features is an equipment system built on meta-currencies. It also uses a classic backpack with item slots: the number of slots decides how much gear a hero can carry. No need to count encumbrance, just remember to always bring a torch!
