Old school fantasy
Slay the Dragon! is an old-school RPG whose atmosphere takes you back to the exciting years when role-playing games were still in their infancy. You play adventurers who, in search of glory and riches, take on the most difficult quests and set off to the most dangerous corners of the world. Many of them will not survive, but those who do will gain the power to change the fate of the world!
Minimalistic system for playing
You only have 4 basic character attributes, no need for more. During the game you perform checks related to those attributes with a good ol' D20 (and occasionally other dice, if needed). Simple and quick, so everyone can focus on playing instead of doing math.
Roleplay at the core
Your character will need you to be cunning and witty, as there are no stats for intelligence or charisma. What you say and do will either get you out of trouble, or quite the opposite. Use your creativity, be brave, and you are sure to overcome any challenge the Game Master puts in your way.
Make dungeons fun again!
Exploring a dungeon is a thrilling race against time and your greed. With procedural rules for the entire party, everything takes time, especially looking for more and more loot. The longer you wander in the dungeon, the more likely its inhabitants are to find you. And you will not be happy when that happens!
Streamlined rules for items
Only key items such as weapons, armour and magical tomes take up slots in your backpack. Everything more mundane is represented by just three meta resources. It is up to your imagination what is in your backpack when you need a tool.
Rapid character creation
In a game where a character's death is always a threat, creating a character has to be quick. A few dice rolls and a choice of ancestry and archetype is all you need to get back in the game.
Fast fight resolving
In Slay the Dragon! every fight is lethal, because each attack hurts someone: the attacker or the defender. Crossing blades with an enemy leads to a quick and bloody battle that keeps the game flowing. No more waiting ages for a fight to end before the story goes on.

Slay the Dragon! is all about its visual style. Dangerous skeletons are ready to chop your head off while you browse the rulebook! Adrianna Wiśniewska's illustrations give the game its unique look and feel.
